Maybe it is set for manual calculation. Click on Tools | Options |
Calculation tab and ensure that Automatic is checked. Save the file to
ensure that the settings will be retained, although if you open a
workbook which is set for manual calculation, then any other files
that you open in the same session will inherit that setting.
