Default Closing off threads

Hi,

I've just noticed that I have an 'open' thread which doesn't need any
further input from the Community.

It would be great if there was a way to 'close' threads without having to
rate any feedback as helpful. (The replies I got to my post did not answer
the question I'd posed, but I'd found a solution myself some time later.)

Reading through the posts it's clear I'm not looking for any feedback, but
it still shows up in the "Questions without Answers" category.

Thanks.
