Default Excel Message "user defined type not defined"

When you say no macros; have you checked the worksheet and workbook events..

Launch VBE using Alt+F11. From the tree view under VBAProject for this
workbook double click the sheet icons and the 'This workbook' icon and see
whether there is any code placed. You may receive this error message when a
subroutine contains code that use an Object Library and the library is not
referenced...under VBE ToolsReferences....
