You are presumably trying to use Microsoft's web interface to the newsgroup?
It is known to be unreliable.

Try to access the newsgroup by another means:
Newsgroup hints:
a.. http://www.cpearson.com/excel/HintsA...roupUsers.aspx
b.. http://groups.google.com/group/micro...lic.excel.misc
