I have a cell that is a date with a time, and I'd like to be able to create
another cell that is only the date and not the time. I know I can easily
format the exisitng cell, however I wish to remove the time all together from
the cell. I am using it to peform a sumif, which is not working because the
lookup value is just 15/7/08, and the sum criteria all have a time.

EG. I have "15/07/2008 11:47:59 am" which I would like to convert to simply
"15/7/2008" in an adjacent cell.

Hope I've explained it properly, any help would be much appreciated!!
