Are you sure that you've got
=q2&" "&R2&" "&p2
and not
=q$2&" "&R$2&" "&p2 ?

How do I get it to increment each reference without doing it manually?
I'd
like it to be like this:

=q2&" "&R2&" "&p2
=q3&" "&R3&" "&p3
etc.
