If you type another number that starts with zero, you can type an
apostrophe ( ' ) in front of the number, e.g. '012345

The apostrophe won't show in the cell, after you press the Enter key,
and the leading zero will be kept.

The apostrophe tells Excel to treat the number like text, instead of a
number.

I have transported mobile telephone numbers from our database into excel and
it has deleted all the "0" I would like to reinsert all with "0" or +44
without having to manually type this in at the beginning of every field?
