Why did excel do this and how do we get them to change it back or give us
long time users the option of having it the old way. This is a major problem
for people who enter lots of data. Where could I suggest this to
Microsoft? Any ideas?

Thanks

Excel 2003 has made a slight change in the FD override.

You must now enter 50.0 rather than 50.

I have my fixed decimal at 2 but when want to override it and type "50." it
still gives me an answer of .50 rather than overriding the fixed decimal and
giving me 50.00.

Any idea's?
