Default Sorting 2 data columns in Pivot Table

Thanks for your reply Shane

Too bad that there is no two level sort
I did use the manual option
the problem is that sometimes the table will have 30+ rows
and to arrange manually it´s going to take a lot of time

perhaps the only way is to copy-paste as values
and the do the sort

Hi,

Well that's a nice idea, but within the pivot table there is no automatic
command to do a two level sort. What you want can be done, but manually as
follows:

In your example, select the cell in the pivot table with B, place your mouse
along the edge until you see a four headed arrow, then drag upward.

If this helps, please click the Yes button.

Hi everybody

I have a pivot table with 2 datas (HI and LOW) for each row
I want to sort them descending on BOTH columns -when HI has the same value
for 2 or more items, then sort them descending by LOW

So far I can only arrange them by HI
and keep getting a table like this:

Number Name HI LOW
1 A 900 900
2 B 900 850
3 C 900 880
4 D 800 700
5 E 800 750

So, I need that C should be above B
and E above D

I have try the Z-A button on HI and then LOW
and also clicking on Number-More sort options-Descending by HI
but can't make the pivot table do what i want

is this possible??
I'm using EXCEL 03
