I managed to sort the problem by coping the items ticked in the reference box
from the tool menu and it works now.

What were the missing references? Maybe we can systematically go through the
list.

Hi Jon,
I followed your instructions and there were alot marked as missing. I
ticked
all of them then tried the file the following message came up:
compile error cant find object library.
I then checked reference again and found all missing agian. I then checked
the object library and tried again and the following message came up:
name conflict with project & object library.

I have a file with macro done using excel office 2003. I have tried
it
on a
computer with office 2007. When I run the file it keeps debugging.
Is
there a
way to make this file compatible with office 2007.
