Default highlight dependent cells

Try this...

Select the range C2:C7

Goto the menu FormatConditional Formatting
Select the Formula Is option
Enter this formula in the box on the right:
=OR(C2=D$2:D$3)
Click the Format button
Select the desired style(s)
OK out

Hello,

I'm having trouble explaining my question, so I've come up with a simple
example.
Column C Column D
horse cat
cow dog
pig
cat
owl
dog

I would like the entries in Column C to highlight, if they match an entry
in
Column D. In this case, C5 (cat) and C7 (dog) would highlight....is this
possible? Thanks so much!
