Please clarify "when I reopen Excel".

Do you mean when you start Excel (blank worksheet)? Or do you mean when you
open an Excel workbook?

If the latter, are you opening the file within Excel (clicking on File
Open), or are you clicking on the file in a folder?

In either case, do you already have another workbook open in Excel?
