Default IF function problems

a) Check in Excel Options that you have Calculation set to 'automatic'
b) =SUM(A1:A38) should add all the values (of course, you must change the
range to fit you case)
best wishes

Hi!

I have two questions about the IF function. I have an argument that looks
like this;
=IF(H4="";I4="";IF(K3="x";$C$4;I3*1,5))

1) I can change all values and excel recalculates everything perfectly if
I
activate the cell, changes the value and presses enter. But if I only mark
a
cell that is included in the function and presses the delete button on my
keyboard, excel doesn't seem to get that this is a change and should run
the
function again.. Can I fix this?

2)I have a column with 38 cells, all containing a IF functions that
returning a value, I want to summarize these values but the result is
zero.
How do I summarize values that origins from an IF function?
I hope someone can help me!?

Best regards
