Default Conditional Formattting

I'm not an expert, but click on cell A1 and in Conditional Formating formula
enter =A1="IN"
Change A1 to the cell reference where you require the formatting.

Hello all,

I would like to do a conditional formatting in which if value in Column C =
"IN", then change the color of that particular row to yellow.

I tried to create a formula as =C:C="IN", but it doenst work.

Any expert advice?
