Default Control find

[Ctrl]+[F] and/or Edit | Find should still work to locate entries. Whether
or not a person can change data in a cell on a protected sheet depends on
whether or not the cell is Locked or not. If it is Locked, no change can be
made.

To unlock cells (all are locked by default initially), unprotect the sheet,
choose the cells you want to allow users to make changes in and use Format |
Cells and clear the Locked checkbox on the [Protection] tab. Now when you
protect the sheet again, the users should be able to make changes in the
unlocked cells.

Hope this helps some.

I protected a worksheet for other users to enter data into and protected the
worksheet against other changes. Now the CTRL-F feature does not work. How
do i turn it back on without allowing changes to be made by the users, except
the changes I allow. MSExcel 2003
