Default point as delimiter

There might be a tab after A. in your data...
Remove the checkbox against TAB and just say ; against OTHER:

When I import data from an external source into Excel, I want Excel to
recognize ";" to be a delimiter for text to columns. However, in addition to
";", Excel recognizes "." as a delimiter.

For example: "A. Watson; London" is put into 3 columns (A and Watson and
London), but I would like to have it in 2 (A. Watson and London).

When checking the default setting in text to columns, it shows "tab" and
"semicolon" as delimiters, and not ".". How can I remove "." as a delimiter,
while it is not shown in the default setting?

Thanks.
