Default How do I save the Recent Colors that I frequently use in Excel.

hi
custom color follows the file in which they were created. so if you open a
blank file, they revert back to default.
To keep the new color palette permanent you need to save the file with the
custom colors as an xl template (.xlt) which is the .XLT file in the XLStart
folder. open a worksheet, create your color pallette, then save the file to
the location above with extention .XLT instead of .XLS. after that every new
workbook you create will have your custom color pallett

Standard color palette too dull. Use 6 or 7 normal colors but Excel doesn't
remember which colors I used previously. How to I change the standard color
palette or get Excel to remember my recent colors.
