Default how do i split a cell into 2 under a heading

No, but you can go the other way. Insert a column to the right of your ticket
# column, then merge the heading cells (cell containing "Ticket #" and new
blank cell). Or, instead of merging (which can cause issues with some
functions/macros, select the two cells, go to formatting, and then
horizontally align across selection.
