Currently,
If i try to increase it above 409.50,
it is displaying the below message :
"Row Height must be between 0 and
409"

Any ideas ?

409 points is 5.68 inches. Why do you need a row height greater than
that?

I have a row that requires 1 more inch.
I need this so that it can be viewed
without clicking and scrolling for the
data that comes near the end of the
cell.

I tried with the following also -
1. Format - Row Height - set value to 410 and
2. Format - Autofit Row Height.

It allowed me to chang till 409.50
But, it did not allow me to change
more than 409.50 . Even though
it displays the message as
'Row Height must be between 0
and 409' only and not with 409.50.

How to change the Row Height to be
greater than 409.50 ?

Why has it been fixed at 409 ?
Nowadays we have big slim montors and
also multiple-displays are also possible.
Any ideas ?

I think the designers of Excel said, let's use Excel for spreadsheets. Folks
who want to do word processing and even page layout can use Word. People who
need ten bazillion records can use Access, and hey, this PowerPointy thing
is good for making fancy overheads.

While there is a certain flexibility among the different software tools,
there are limits, just like you get poor results using the wrong wrench to
pound in the wrong bolt.
