Default Deleting a file

If the files are on your C: drive (or any local drive), try rebooting and then
deleting the files. Don't open excel when you do this. Just use windows
explorer.

If our files are on a network drive, I'd ask the IT folks to reboot that server
and then try deleting the files.

I am trying to delete several files I have saved because when I go in to edit
them it does not save - see previous thread. When I try to delete them it
tells me they are open or locked for editing. I have looked at the advanced
options and it shows it unlocked for editing and I know it's not open because
it's not there, unless it's hidden somewhere and I don't know where to find
it. I have other files that work fine. This ONE is a problem.
