Default Screen Size ?

Hi Bob,

When you say "This is the only program that I have this trouble with" do you
mean that all of your other applications fit the screen properly when
maximized or do you mean that the other applications simply do not open with
maximized screen and therefore do not present a problem?

If other applications do not fit the screen when maximized then it indicates
that you need to adjust the screen controls (Usually buttons on the front of
the sceen where one main button brings up a menu and you use arrows to scroll
to the required menu item and then select the menu item with the main button
again and then used the arrows to alter the values for the selected item.
There is a lot of different ways that the buttons work so consult the manual
for the CRT if you can't work it out.)

Now if the above is not your problem and other applications when mazimized
fill the screen to the correct size, can you see the top bar of the window
with the Workbook name and Microsoft Excel? If you can then you can right
click on it and select Restore to reduce the screen size.

If other applications are OK and only Microsoft Excel presents a problem
then I don't know what the answer is to correct the problem properly; only
the work around in the previous paragraph.

Hello,

Using Excel 2007, and XP.

The screen opens up too large for my CRT monitor.

Probably not all that much, but enough so that I can't grab any of the edges
to make smaller, or the minimize box in the upper right corner.

So, I can't drag the full screen around any.

This is the only program that I have this trouble with.

Is there anything in Excel that I can tell to re-size the full screen
smaller when it opens ?

Thanks,
Bob
