Frank, in researching my problem (cancelling a link in Excel2000) I saw your
name often, so I thought I'd give your suggestion. It did n't work for me.
I have a book that I don't want linked to anything. Break Link is not
available to me under EDIT, LINKS.
Any other suggestions?

I'm working with a spreadsheet/form in Excel 2000 (calculates
estimated
relocation costs) that has an old link to a non-existent workbook --
it was
developed from another spreadsheet but is a stand-alone form and
there is no
need to update, as must have been the case with the original. The
resulting
pop-ups are a problem. I don't work with queries or macros... at
least, not
until now, so don't know how to eliminate the unnecessary link(s).
Any
suggestions are appreciated.
