Default Print Area

You can control the scroll area of a worksheet from the Visual Basic Editor.
Press Alt+F11 to open the VBE and then click on a worksheet in the PROJECT
EXPLORER pane in the upper-left corner below the menu. Directly below the
PROJECT EXPLORER is the PROPERTIES window for the selected worksheet. Check
to see if there is a cell range in the property named SCROLLAREA. You can
check each worksheet one at a time to verify or remove any scroll area
restrictions.

Click FILE in the menu and select CLOSE AND RETURN TO MICROSOFT EXCEL to
return to the workbook.

Save the workbook when done.

I have no problem setting over 1100 pages to print. Perhaps share
what/how you are setting the print area and the version of Excel and the
amount of memory your system has.
