Default Remove series from Pivot Chart

You can't remove the series, as Andy points out, but you can format a series
in the chart so it's invisible (depending on chart type: no border, no fill,
no lines, no markers).

In Excel 2007, is it possible to remove a series of values from a
Pivotchart?
I have a pivot table with 1 report filter, 1 row label series, and 6
value
series all of which have been formatted and are displayed in a table. Now
I
want to be able to generate a pivot chart based on that data (which I have
done) but now wish to remove one of the series from only the chart and not
from the original table? Can this be done? If so how would I proceed
since
clicking on the select data function on the chart does not let me remove
any
of the data series?
