Default 32,000 Data Points?

Hi Bernard.......
Thanks, but I was just getting ready to sanitize it to send to you and the
problem went away. Last night I thought I isolated the specific chart that
was causing the problem and was able to produce the error message on demand,
but today all is well. I cannot under any circumstances make the error
message pop up. I even went back three versions of the file, all of which
had the problem.

I guess just the "thought" of YOU looking at it, solved the problem <g. I
will keep an eye on it tho, and if the problem pops back up, I'll get back in
touch.

Thanks for your time,

Don't know for sure........there are 20-30 charts, just simple line charts
and at first glance each appears to be ok, as far as displaying the data
is
concerned.......thing is, I can't make the pop-up appear on
demand.....dunno
why it shows up.....if I could control it, maybe I could just start
deleting
charts untill it goes away to find out if one of them is the culpret.

Hi All.......
I was given an Excel file that for some reason, every once in a while
pops
up this message.........
"The maximum number of data points you can use in a data series for a
2-D
chart is 32,000. If you want to use more than 32,000 data points, you
must
create two or more series"

Just clicking off the message makes all appear ok. The charts do not
appear
to be affected, it's just aggravating for this thing to pop up randomly

Any ideas how to clear it out, or how to find what's causing it?
