The license allows you to install the Home & Student version of Office on
three computers.
However, this version has no (lower-priced) upgrade to future versions of
Office. You'd have to purchase the future version as new. But if you still
qualify for Home & Student, it will probably still be probably a low cost
alternative.

Hi Bernard,
I could not quite get you.
In Home Office / Student Edition we have only Excel, Word , Power Point
and
One Note, Do you mean that when Office 14 comes out, I could not use this
on
the new office suite ? May I know what you mean by putting it in 3
machines ?
Kindly elaborate a bit further.
Thanks
Low

One of the main differences with Home & Student version: when Office 14
comes out you cannot just buy an upgrade
But then you can put it on 3 machines, I think

Hi,
I have a few option to purchase MS Office 2007 namely under:
1. Home Office and Student Edition
2. Standard Edition
3. Small Business Edition
4. Professional Edition
May I know if the functionality of the the Excel Spreadsheet in the 4
different version are exactly the same or there are significant
variation
based on the price paid for. i.e. the more expensive version is more
powerful.
I need a version that could woirk well in demanding office environment.
Kindly give me good guidience on this before I purchase.
Thanks
Low
