Default Carry over formatting in pivot

You can't carry the font or cell colour from the source data to the
pivot table. Perhaps you could add it manually, or record a macro an run
that when needed.

I guess I wasn't as clear on my first question. How can I carryover the same
font color or cell shading from my list?

Thank you :-)

If you add number fields to the Row, Column or Report Filter area, they
should keep the formatting from the source data.

If you put the number fields in the Values area they'll have the General
format. You can change the formatting after you add the fields to the
pivot table.
