Default Table

No, I don't have the 03 version.
I know 97 has this option as well, and I used it in the past, but I have
forgotten how it was.

In Excel 07:
Go to View, click Freeze Panes, click Freeze First Column

In Excel 03:
Click Column A to select the whole column, click on Windows, and click on
Freeze Panes.

Hope this helps :)

The table that I have generated in Excell is much larger than the
screen and
when I scroll to the right side, the columns to the left disappear,
which I
looking to keep the first column in place.
Could anyone tell me how to make the first column to the laft not to
goes
out of screen while I scroll to the rest of the table to the right.
Thanks,
