Default Look up function

Easiest way and quickest is probably with a conditional format. Suppose the
cell youwant to match is F7, go to format-conditional formatting in the three
boxes select

cell value
is equal to
$f$7

use the paint brush to copy the format to the rest of your table. note
shift, ctrl plus arrow keys fills in the format very quickly rather than
doing each cell.

I have a list of numbers, i need to do a search to match all the numbers on
that llst with the one i put in the look up function.
ex. I'm looking for the #3
B D E F
2 3 6 5 15
3 7 9 10 12
4 9 3 14 18
5 3 15 11 12

Is there a function that i could type the #3 in the formula and it will
highlight all the #3's in the list
so therefore, i should be able to see B2, B5 & D4 highlighted. please help
