Default Classic Excel

Thanks guys. I'll give these a try.

And yes, I do want it free. It was just fine the way it was. I use Excel
all day every day for work . My productivity has just plummeted. Is MS
going to reimburse me and my company for the decrease in productivity? If
they were to do that for every company, they'd be right there with the auto
companies asking for handouts.

Get used to the ribbon

But if you really want
Check this out (free)

No add in or code needed
You can add the old menu items with RibbonX

See this example from Charlie Woodall:

You can add classic menus to Excel 2007 with XML. No VBA is necessary. Here is the XML file along with the add-in that contains it.
The add-in will add a ClassicUI tab to the ribbon.

First day with 2007 Excel. Is there a way to get the classic excel view? I
don't use the mouse, so I'm not really liking the new format. Is there a way
to convert 2007 so it operates like the normal excel?

Pls help. If I can't get the classic excel back, I'm either going to go
postal, or quit and go live in a cave.
