Well, if you can explain it in a way that I'll understand it, I'll be able
to solve it!

So, you don't want the max date? You want the *next* date that is greater
than the date on sheet1 if there is one?

For example:

sheet1B2 = 1/1/2008 (m/d/y)

sheet2 = (m/d/y)
1/1/2008
1/3/2008
1/7/2008

So, the correct result for this example would be 1/3/2008 ?
