Default Unmoveable Frame in Excel 2007

Excel 2007
I inherited some Excel workbooks from a prior employee who held my position
with my firm. They are multisheet workbooks, with lots of formulas, and sheet
to sheet references. That last part probably doesn't realy matter.

My problem is that the previous user somehow set the dispaly frame for the
workbook to be about two-thirds of the screen real-estate. I've got this
wonderful large screen, but cannot figure out how to click on the edge, and
drag out the display frame for a greater dispaly area. It will not allow for
expansion or contraction. The darn thing is locked, or has some form of
protection in place! It makes no difference which sheet within the workbook
is selected, it just won't allow me to change the frame display size.

I know the answer will be rudimentary, but I'm just not figuring it out.

Thanks for any suggestions. .....thegrapehunter
