Default how to protect cells?

In the FormatCells menu you can lock and unlock cells, then use
toolsprotection and set the options to not allow selection of locked cells.
Hope this helps.

I've tried the instructions "Lock only a few cells on a worksheet" but I can
still change the cells that I want protected.
