Excel file opens Read-Only for different users...stop!
I'm not sure if this is your problem, but if the user's only have read-access to
the drive/folder that contains that workbook file, then excel/windows will
respect that and open the file in readonly mode.
If you're saving to a network folder, you'll want to move to a different folder
(or change the permissions).

Sometimes its difficult to create an appropriate subject...anyway
I created a file in excel 2007 which opens fine when I am logged in, but
when someone else logs in, it opens as Read-Only. Some pre-emptive answers:
A) No, it has not been left open while I was logged in.
B) It is not password protected.
I suspect this has something to do with Excels Trust settings but I can't
find anything that seems to relate. As regards users...I am an Administrater,
the other user is not.
Is there anyway to eliminate this process? I am all the time created
Worksheets that I want others to use. Thanks for the help.
