Lady Layla,
What does clicking Values do?
Keeps you from pasting (or overwriting existing) colors, conditional
formats, comments, borders....

Hi Bernie
What does clicking Values do? I use the paste special Add or Multiply all
the
time and never had changed All to Values in the top section.

: Jill,
:
: You can add 500 to a cell by typing 500 in a blank cell, copying that
cell,
: then selecting your cell that you want to increment and: right-click,
select
: Paste Special, then click "Values" and "Add" and then press OK. You can
do
: this to multiple cells instead of just one.
:
: Or, if you have a value in a cell, you can press F2, type +500, then
select
: everything in the cell and press F9. If you have a formula, press F2,
then
: type + 500 and press Enter.
