Default Upper Case vs. Lower Case Add-Ins

Thanks for your feedback.

You can record a macro and attach to a button so that it is easier for her
to do this.

One reason could be that the formulae are generated through a macro and
saved on a system without Analysis Toolpack...

Let us know if you find the cause...

This did solve her problem temporarily (it is a workaround).
I have escalated this issue to our parent company.
Thank you, Sheeloo for your advice.

It is difficult to say why this is happening with her.
Ask her to try this solution..
Select any column with a #Name error and
Choose Data|Text to Columns and click on FINISH.

This should reset all errors...

Here's what I'm seeing using the NETWORKDAYS function as an example:
Neither Analysis ToolPaks loaded - no NETWORKDAYS formula at all
Analysis TookPak only loaded - no NETWORKDAYS formula at all
Both Analysis ToolPaks loaded - Networkdays (sentence case only) available

On my own PC I have the NETWORKDAYS (All caps) function available.
When I add the Analysis ToolPak VBA I get both Networkdays and NETWORKDAYS
functions.

Pl. verify that she has Analysis Toolpack enabled and not Analysis Toolpack -
VBA and let us know.

I have a user whose Analysis ToolPak Add-Ins (the actual functions
themselves) are listed in lower case letters. When she opens a spreadsheet
containing upper case formulae she gets the #NAME? error until she edits each
cell and hits enter.
Any ideas?
I thought all formulae in Excel were always upper case.
Thanks in advance for your help.
