Actually, the version of VBA used in Excel 97 is older than that used by
2000 and later, so some code may just not work.

Bite the bullet and buy a newer version. Look on Ebay but be sure you get
a LEGAL copy you can register. Your xl2002 should work with xl97 and
later.
