Pivot table.
When you get to define the external data source you will be taken to MS
Query.
In MS Query you can link diferent tables (if they have a common field to use
as a key) and display consolidated data in your PT.

I have a spreadsheet that is populated with data obtained from several
other spreadsheets and an .html document also. Is there a fairly simple
