Default I have a symbol on my screen I don't know how to get rid of. H

Thanks for your post. If it continues I'll send the file to you.

Is it to the left of the cell? Have you tried clicking the inverted triangle?
Inverted traingle usually indicates an error or warning... You can simply
ignore it...

Pl. send the file to where you see such an error (you
can save the file to a new name when you get the error and send to me)

time it comes up my only recourse is to close the workbook without saving and
bring it up again. Which means I have to reinput everything I lost.
The symbol is a large inverted black triangle surrounded by a white circle.

Can anyone help me? I know it's simple and I'm being stupid, but it's still
a major pain.
