I am pretty unfamiliar with Vista and with non-English versions so am
unlikely to be more help on this one.

In Windows XP if an application faults there is a window with a Send
Error Report button on it; it has a link to another dialog which shows
details of the error; that dialog can sometimes give a clue as to the
location of the error - excel.exe, vbe6.dll, some other system
component - which can sometimes help towards a solution.

I would hesitate to suggest replacing Spanish Vista with German Vista,
but it might just save you time in the long run?
