Default Excel 2000 - 3D Bar and Lines

3D charts are more cluttered, requiring additional shapes to give the false
impression of a third dimension. 3D charts distort data by forcing a third
dimension to be inaccurately portrayed on a 2 dimensional medium. Because of
the third dimensional offset, the data (e.g., the bars) are offset from the
axis ticks representing their values.

Here is a short discussion of these issues:

Thanks for the response!! Why shouldn't I use 3D chart types?

It won't work with 3D chart types. Which is okay, because you shouldn't
use
3D chart types anyway.

Hi,

I am having difficulty creating a chart that has a combo of 3D Bar and
Lines. Only two sets of variables.

Thanks!
