Default Formula too long problem

There is no such settings but you have to ask yourself why the formulas are
shorter in France. I suspect it has more to do with the length of the paths
to the linked workbooks not the country. If you put all the workbooks
involved in C:\ or C:\a\ (a temp folder you can create) the paths to the
workbooks should be very short and maybe you'll be able to see all of the
formulas.

| I've received a file from a colleague in France with a very long equation
in
| several cells. Actually it just adds 14 cells together, but since the
cells
| are in other workbooks the cell name is very long. Here is the problem. He
| has no problems seeing the entire equation (i've seen it via netmeeting)
and
| can therefore edit it. I'm in the US and cannot see the entire equation,
| therefore, I cannot edit it. If I tried to add to the portion of the
equation
| I am able to see I get a window saying "Formula too long".
| Is there a setting I can change to be able to see the entire equation and
be
| able to edit it? Thanks,
