Default Problem after reinstalling Office 2007 with XP SP3

Yes, I was referring to Windows XP Service Pack 3.

I ran diagnostics already, nothing shown as wrong. I've also noted that in
the drop down menu's on right click of teh mouse, that the same options are
not valid for use.

How many times can I uninstall, reinstall my version on Office 2007
Professional before the validation key locks me out? I can't afford to lose
a $300 upgrade because of this..

Also- does anyone have anything else regarding my original problem and any
possible cure?

How very true!

Damn! Is 2007 up to SP3 already? Are you sure you didn't mean 2003 SP3?
Although your description involving the PAGE SETUP/PAGE LAYOUT tools does
sound like you're using 2007.

If we're really talking about 2007, I'd start by using the
Office Button | [Excel Options] | Resources
and then running the Diagnostics to see if it can detect problems and fix
them for you. Even if it reports no problems, if they persist, you may
have
to uninstall and reinstall anyhow.

I'd also look at running disk diagnostics such as CHKDISK to make sure
that
your drive is really healthy now.

My C drive crashed. Had to reinstall Office 2007 Professional. Trying to
create a simple spreadsheet this morning, I can not drag/drop page breaks
and
I do not have access to the PAGE SETUP toolbar in PAGE LAYOUT tab. I can
access Page Break, Print area, and background only. I can't access
Margins,
Orientation, Size or Print titles.
