Ok Max. Now it's working well. but i still would like to put multiple
numbers in a cell. I want to look up a series of invoices and easily compare
them to another series of invoices. and i'll be doing this to make sure i
haven't missed any invoices, and that several invoices are being paid as one.
Anyway.
I like the formula, but some times it's just 1 invoice, mostly it will be 2
or 3 invoices. so that means each calculation has varying number of rows.
Which doesn't work for me.
What can be done to read three numbers from one cell instead of 3 cells?

The equation works great.
That's good. Take a moment to press the "Yes" button in that response
Any way to put invoice numbers in the same cell?
It's tough to do it this way. I'd refrain from having mixed/multiple data
entry into the same cell. Maybe other responders would spare you some of
their thoughts.

23
25
27
I'd like to sum invoices 23, 25, 27
Thanks, Jon
