Kevin, thanks so much. I apologize for the delay in getting back to thank
you--my computer wouldn't go back to the site for some reason.

If not, I would google "gantt chart Excel add in" and find a utility that
will do that type of charting. Many of them are free while others can be
purchased for a nominal fee.
Hope this helps.

I may have been asked to do the impossible, but I know if anyone can help,
someone from this group can.
I need to develop a worksheet to track the weekly progress of several
projects against their due dates. I thought it would be simple using the
TODAY function and conditional formatting--an orange bar for due within 10
days, red for past due, etc.
However, since they want it to update automatically, this means I have to
take into account the week as well as the date--i.e., if I leave my
calculation as it is and the due date is August 10, there will be an orange
bar from the current week through the end of the year. So I need a way to
figure in the current week and have the calculation kick in weekly.
Is this possible? And if so, is there a way to kick OFF the formatting for
the remaining weeks once a project is completed?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
