Okay, I see it works if I open both workbooks in the same instance of excel....
Do you know if there is a trick - when using dual monitor - to display the
workbooks on seperate screens, besides running 2 different excel sessions.

Same results in Excel 2003 and Excel 2007 for same workbook.
