Default Color coding cells

No, a formula will not do that. If the color in A14 is driven by some
condition in the file or sheet, you may be able to use Conditional
Formatting in cell A1 to get that color, otherwise you will have to use VBA.

Is it possible to format cell A1 to display the same color as the color
hi-lighted in cell A14? There is no text in cell A14, only a color.
