Assume table as posted is within A1:H2
In A3: =IF(SUM(A2:$D2)=$G$2,COLUMNS($A:A),"")
Copy A3 to D3

Then in H2: =IF(G2<=0,0,4-MAX(A3:D3)+1)
returns the required "By days" count for the balance
