There's nothing wrong with that formula. Do you have any #VALUE! errors in
the range?

See if this works:

=SUMPRODUCT(--(INT(A1:A10)=DATE(2008,7,7)))

Note that with SUMPRODUCT you *can't* use entire columns as range
references
unless you're using Excel 2007.

Is it not working because of the forward slashes? I can change the
