Default If(And - multiple conditions

That did it and I thank you. I do however have to take in to account a half
month salary. I needn't worry about less than that. How can I build that in?

Let's change it to
name ann salary start date end date jan feb mar
joe $10,000.00 14-Jun 2-Oct 0 0 0

put this formula (ONE line) in e2 and copy across and down

=IF(AND(COLUMN(A1)=MONTH($C2),COLUMN(A1)<=MONTH($ D2)),DOLLAR($B2/12),0)

Does not attempt to use partial months pay.

This is my spreadsheet:
C D H I J
Month Start Date End Date June July
5,821.83 1/1/08 5,821.83

I have a formula that looks at a start date and places the monthly salary
based on the start date in the appropriate month, and carries it forward
for
the rest of the year. How do I incorporate an additional statement that
also
looks at the "End Date" field, and will enter a zero in the last pay
month,
and subsequent months for the rest of the year? My formula is:

=IF($C5="",0,IF($G5=--"6/30/2008",0,IF($G5<--"6/1/2008",$C5,IF(AND($G5<--"6/30/2008",$G5--"6/14/2008"),$C5/2,))))
